Abbaye St Martin du Canigou, Southern France on the road from Andorra to Perpignon FR
A wonderful old Abbey that has attracted a hundred or more different stores, mainly artists and artisans. There are unspoiled places, but trying to lose the power wire, or the added fire hydrants is hard work.... Comments

So most ancient building have cables and satellite dishes all over them, and posters and modern letterboxes attached... yet it would be so easy to leave them in their ancient past.
