CHECK OUT MY GALLERY --> [link]
The dawn light comes straight through a gap in the rocks (which is the collapse of a natural arch).
The angle is perfect at this time of year, and the light catches on the spray from the ocean, when the tides are just right.
The lesson - study the location, look up tides, phases or whatever else, and walk in the dark without spraining an ankle - and you'll always catch the shot you want.

If everything could ever feel this real forever,
If anything could ever be this good again,
The only thing I'll ever ask of you,
You've got to promise not to stop when I say when.
beau, how could you let that slip!!!

always lead~~~never follow~~~
The light was just perfect for a moment... and the model wasn't quite ready for me... and then the light passed.... but I had to share the light with you all - the posed shots are lovely - but this is where mother nature just shone!

The wonders of the area that I live in are endless - the wildlife are all tame, or couldn't care about humans, the magnificent, pulsing Pacific Ocean is totally available, if barely accessible in places, the natives are friendly, no-one owns a gun, the politics are actually free, the economy is the healthiest in the world, and we just need a larger population of people with wonderful souls.
My house is 200 yards from the Open Ocean, and has a safe beach protected by rocky headlands, my Gallery, a mile away, is also 200 yards from the ocean and 100 yards from the rainforest. The daily temperature range is almost always between 70 and 85 degrees, and drops to 60-75 degrees at night. To not live here is almost a statement about hating beauty and perfection. The city of Port Macquarie is listed by the government as being the "Most Idyllic Place in Australia". Long before the listing, fishermen, surfers and triatheletes had discovered the area, and marvelled at the Whales, Dolphins and Seals that play in the bays, and under the watchful gaze of the lighthouse. There is a thriving Arts Community encompassing all disciplines, and a host of small galleries (like mine) that are proud to show the local artists work.
The population is around 75,000 locals, with a further 75,000 holidaymakers over the Christmas (summer) holiday period. It is 250 miles South to Sydney, just far enough to slow the influx of day-trippers that seem to get waylaid by the wineries that are to our immediate South.
When you are ready - there's a place for you
